EX series electrical control valves driven by stepper motor, control refrigerant freely. Fully-sealed stainless steel valve with no external leakage.
② Driven by MVD-01 and sequencer
Highly accurate control is achieved by combining EX series with the driver MVD-01 (by MORIKAWA) and using the existing controller, such as sequencer.
③ Driven by EC3-X33, if a sequencer is not available
If there is no existing controller, use EMERSON’s superheat controller EC3-X33 together with EX series. (EMERSON’s temperature sensor, pressure sensor, etc. also required.)
④ Contribution to multiple applications
Ex Series are classified into 5 types(EX4/EX5/EX6/EX7/EX8)and cover a wide range of capabilities. Available as hot gas defrost, evaporation pressure control valve, and various pressure control valves.
Temperature Type Expansion Valve (Basic Terms, Technical Materials, Capacity Guide, Correction Factors)
Temperature type expansion valve lowers the pressure of the liquid refrigerant leaving the condenser to a level where the refrigerant is evaporated easily, and ensures an optimal flow rate of the evaporator. According to the capacity of the compressor changing with increase/decrease of the cooling load, the valve maintains the superheat level of the refrigerant gas within a specified range to prevent excessive heating and liquid back flow. Description

What Is a Solenoid Valve? (Basic Terms, Technical Materials, Correction Factors)
Solenoid valves are opened or closed by using a principle that the plunger is lifted from the valve seat when current is applied, and the plunger returns to the valve seat when current is shut off. The working principles are mainly two types: direct- acting type and pilot- operated type. The direct- acting valve is opened when electromagnetic force lifts the plunger from the valve seat directly. The pilot-operated valve is raised by the fluid pressure of the refrigerant (differential pressure). Electromagnetic force is used only to open the valve seat. About Dryer
Dryers are available in two types: Liquid line dryer and suction line filter dryer. The liquid line dryer mainly removes water and foreign substances to prevent block or obstruction of the expansion valve. The suction line filter dryer mainly removes foreign substances to prevent damage of the compressor. EMERSON provides the dryers to be brazed directly on the pipe and the dryers with interchangeable cores that allow the internal drying agents to be replaced after being brazed. Description
AWZ oil separator separates the refrigerator oil contained in the refrigerant ejected from the compressor and returns it to the compressor directly.
